Scholarship Overview

• Financial Support: 500,000 yen for one recipient, 100,000 yen for two recipients.
• Eligibility: Non-Japanese citizens accepted to a Japanese university program for 2024.

  • Spring Enrollment: April 1, 2024 – May 31, 2024
  • Fall Enrollment: August 1, 2024 – October 31, 2024

How to Apply

1. Register on JPSS My Page.
2. Submit the required documents:
   • Application form
   • Short essay on ‘Motivation to Study in Japan & Future Goals’ (350 English words or 800 Japanese characters)
   • Self-introduction video (30 seconds max)
3. Interview in Japanese or English.
