How to Apply for the KAUST Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program: A Fully Funded Master’s Degree

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should apply for the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE) Program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. The TIE Program is a 16-month master’s degree program that teaches the fundamental knowledge and skills required to build an entrepreneurial mindset and develop commercially viable products that can benefit society. The program is the first of its kind in the region and is aligned with Vision 2030 and the new KAUST strategy.

The TIE Program is open to all nationalities, but Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply. Every admitted student receives full free tuition support and a range of covered services such as medical and dental insurance, housing accommodations, and travel to and from Shenzhen. No IELTS is required for admission.

The first cohort of students will start in September 2024. The application deadline is not specified, but you should apply as soon as possible to secure your spot. To apply, you need to have a strong STEM-focused background, a good GPA, and experience with capstone projects or product development. Students with undergraduate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Bioengineering will be preferred.
