University of Nottingham Postgraduate Excellence Award 2024: A Scholarship for Outstanding African Students

Are you an African student who wants to pursue a master’s degree at one of the UK’s leading universities? Do you have a strong academic record and a passion for your chosen field of study? If yes, then you may be eligible for the University of Nottingham Postgraduate Excellence Award 2024.

This is a prestigious scholarship award that covers a contribution of between £4,000 to £8,000 towards full-time masters tuition fees for high-achieving international students who live in Africa. The award is open to students from any subject area and any country in Africa.

To apply for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be domiciled in Africa
  • Be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
  • Hold an offer to start a full-time masters (including MRes) for 2024/25 in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK

You can apply for this scholarship through the scholarships section of the University of Nottingham’s application system, NottinghamHub, after you have received an offer to study a full-time masters course. If you have an offer for an MRes course, you can email the scholarships team at scholarship-assistant@nottingham.ac.uk for instructions on how to apply.

The application deadline is Wednesday 15 May 2024. You will be asked to provide information about your achievements, study plans, reasons for choosing to study at Nottingham, and details of predicted grades (if applicable). Your application will be assessed based on your responses and academic merit.

You do not need to accept your offer before applying for this scholarship, but you must do so if you are awarded the scholarship. You will be notified of the outcome of your application by the end of July 2024.

If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at the University of Nottingham. The scholarship will not be paid to you directly.
