Eligibility Requirements for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at KNUST

To be considered for the scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be an African citizen.
  • You must have a genuine and valid WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE O Level and A Level or their equivalent results from an accredited/recognized institution. Your results must not be more than five years old. NO AWAITING RESULTS candidate will be processed for the scholarship.
  • You must meet KNUST’s Admission Requirements.
  • You must demonstrate that you have Critical Economic Needs.
  • You must have Proven Records of Leadership and Community Engagement(s).
  • You must be prepared to Go-Back and Give-Back to your Community.
  • You must NOT be enrolled in any tertiary institution.
